Your family’s story deserves to be held, not simply stored
Every Malin Portraits collection includes a handcrafted 8×10 heirloom album because I believe your photographs should become part of your family’s everyday life—not remain hidden in a digital folder or forgotten among thousands of images on a phone.
I take the album design off your plate, saving you the time and pressure of arranging photographs, choosing layouts, or trying to create it yourself. Once your album arrives, your family can pull it from the shelf whenever you wish, turn through the pages together, and relive this meaningful season without needing a screen.
My hope is that your album becomes a treasured part of your home now and a piece of your family history for generations to come.
I don’t need your children to be perfectly behaved or your family to pose awkwardly. I steer clear of cheesy poses and I promise not to embarrass anyone—no need to be photogenic either. Your family just needs to be yourselves.
The only thing I really need for stunning photos is for your family to show up and have a good time together…and maybe some nice natural light, too! I encourage and guide you, but in the end I document your unique family.

Sessions can take place outdoors, in a studio, or in the comfort of your home, with the option to include your family or keep the focus on you. You do not need to plan everything on your own. I will provide personalized wardrobe guidance and help you choose pieces that complement one another, photograph beautifully, and feel natural to your family.
You will also have access to my client closet for mothers, babies, and young children.
What should we wear?
After your gallery selections are complete, I will thoughtfully design your album and send you a digital mock-up. One round of revisions is included. Once approved, your album will be handcrafted and delivered directly to your home.
Your finished photographs will be delivered in a private online gallery within approximately four weeks. After any required image selections are submitted, I will begin designing your heirloom album.

After booking, you will complete a brief questionnaire and we will meet for one short creative-planning consultation.
We will discuss your vision, family personality, wardrobe, meaningful details, and the overall feeling you would like your photographs and album to have. I will help bring everything together in a way that feels cohesive, timeless, and true to your family.
Yes. Every collection includes high-resolution digital photographs.
The Signature Collection includes 30 selected images. The Complete Heirloom Collection and Bump & Baby Collection include the complete edited galleries.
I believe your family’s photographs deserve to be held, revisited, and passed down—not left forgotten on a phone or computer.
Including an album also allows me to take the design process off your plate. I arrange the photographs, create the layouts, and handle the ordering so you receive a finished heirloom without adding another project to your list.

Every collection includes creative planning, wardrobe guidance, access to the client closet, digital and film photography, high-resolution digital photographs, and a handcrafted 8×10 heirloom album.
There are no separate session fees or required product purchases after your session.
